Front covers and contents
Description

The cover is printed on 260gsm glossy photo paper and inside I use 180gsm double-sided glossy paper, producing a strong and durable calendar with sharp images.

Content

Twelve hand painted images of many forms of transport, from traction engines to trains.
Plenty of variety for the connoisseur of old or new.

Front Cover

A moss covered view over the Yorkshire Dales with distant moors rising beyond.

Content

I've included scenes from near and far seen during my travels. There are local views of the Blackdown Hills in East Devon, including some of the areas most attractive churches, more distant counties of Warwickshire, and North Yorkshire, ending up 'Down Under' for a summer's day Aussie-style

Front Cover

A gentle scene of rural life in East Devon

Content

This one is definitely for the farmer in your life. From the earliest steam driven machinery to the latest monster tractors, with a few animals thrown in for good measure.

Front Cover

Messing about in boats on a summer's day. What could be better?

Content

In this calendar we travel from a Scottish fishing village, down to East Devon, passing through the Lake District, Whitby and Stratford on Avon en route. We also head for America and Australia and even Malta for brief visits.

Front Cover

A friends horse takes star billing this year on my animal themed calendar

Content

A mixture of wild and domesticated animals make up my 2025 offering. There may be a couple of changes in the monthly pictures as we go through the year because I'm always painting new subjects. But you get the drift!

Front Cover

A fantastic steam rally in Scotland inspired this front cover. While the engines were work horses, they scrubbed up well didn't they?

Content

A slightly different emphasis in this calendar with more steam being the primary ingredient!

Front Cover

Probably only for my parish neighbours but the pictures are lovely anyway

Content

Scenes mainly from my own parish of Chardstock but with a few churches etc from further afield
